Many people in the Philippines learn they have diabetes only when complications start.

Screening and follow-up are inconsistent outside the big cities, and diabetologists and eye specialists are hard to reach in the provinces. Many people find out they have diabetes only when complications have already started.

4.7 million
adults in the Philippines are living with diabetes.1
Over 50%
of them have not been diagnosed.1
Nearly double
the number of adults with diabetes projected by 2050, compared with today.1

One pathway, in four steps

These are the parts of the platform we are building now. They are in development and not yet available.

  1. Step 1

    Risk check

Will estimate Type 2 diabetes risk using lab data and Filipino demographic factors, so people who may need testing can talk to a doctor sooner.

  2. Step 2

    Personal guidance

Will suggest changes to food, activity and daily habits based on each person's results.

  3. Step 3

    Monitoring between visits

Will track blood sugar control and other health readings over time, and share them with the patient's care team.

  4. Step 4

    Eye-care referral

Will include a screening pathway for diabetic retinopathy, with referral to eye specialists.

Doctors stay in charge. CareGenicsAI is designed to support clinical care. Diagnosis and treatment decisions stay with each patient's doctor.
